Eastern Fare Music Foundation now starts dance classes for Contemporary, Sattriya, Bharatanatyam, Kathak and other classical forms at Noonmati, Guwahati.
Dance is a performance art form performed with the accompaniment of music consisting of purposefully selected sequences of human movement. These movements have aesthetic and symbolic value. A dance form can be categorized and described by its choreography and by its repertoire of movements.

With half a dozen branches and after many years of music training in Bangalore, Eastern Fare starts its branches in Guwahati in 2016. The branches in Guwahati provides training for different forms of dance. In an era where music is being bargained over as a fast moving commodity, the institute affectionately tries to preserve the accent of sound.

Apart from graded courses in music from Trinity College, London, Eastern Fare has been training students the contemporary style of music for both vocals and instruments. Jim Ankan Deka, Director of Eastern Fare Music Foundation, is a music composer, documentary film maker and photographer. He has been a music trainer for over 15 years. Apart from participating in various cause related projects, he founded 'Count Your Blessings', a philanthropic initiative in 2009. He is also the Editor-in-chief of EF News International.

Ankur Deka - Eastern Fare Music Foundation
Ankur Deka is a Master of Musicology in Indian Classical Music and has a degree in Alternate Medicine. He is presently working on subjects like Music Therapy, Ethnomusicology and Indian Music. He is also a singer, songwriter and composer. He has been composing music for over thirty years in various languages including Assamese, English, Hindi and Mizo.
